New Year, New Adventure

Just over two weeks ago I set off for Macedonia, to embark on yet another season of professional basketball, which landed me in the capital city of Skopje. Almost every season has taken me to a country I’ve never seen before, and this year is no different. I look forward to a year in a new place, with a new team, immersed in a culture I have so much to learn about.

I’m extremely excited to be a part of KK Rabotnički, a perennial powerhouse in Macedonia, who has won a total of 14 Macedonian Championships and 9 Macedonian Cup Titles. I feel very fortunate to join an organization that has a winning pedigree. Of course our goal is to continue this tradition, and to bring another championship back to Rabotnički.

As always, the first weeks are filled with excitement, high hopes and big dreams. We feel confident in our potential to become a championship team this season, but we also understand there is a lot of work to be done. Day by day, our focus is to be better than the day before.

Our first test will come September 21, as we take on Parma Basket of Russia in the FIBA Europe Cup qualifying round.
