DC Meet and Greet

I’m very excited to announce that this Friday, June 28th, I will be teaming up with the DC Carolina Club to host a ‘meet and greet’ event at Crystal City Sports Pub in Arlington, Virginia. I wanted to create a space to meet with the local alumni face to face and tell them a little about my story as a native to the area as well a fellow Tar Heel alum. With my basketball camp just over a month away (held in Jacksonville, NC), I will also be asking the local alumni to help contribute to the camp by making a donation or sponsoring a child to attend the camp. It’s my mission to use the money generated from the camp to give directly back to the Jacksonville community. I hope to be able to provide sports equipment to local teams, donations to educational institutions, as well as assisting in the construction of additional parks and recreational facilities. I believe that there is a huge chance to strengthen the community through sports, and I’m excited to try to make a positive impact.

In my opinion, there is nothing better than being around fellow Tar Heels, and I’m looking forward to meeting with everyone who can make it! I will have my championship rings, old jerseys, and other memorabilia on display for everyone to enjoy!
