This summer we are excited to announce the arrival of Marcus Ginyard Basketball Camp in Chapel Hill, NC! What’s even more exciting is our partnership with the Town of Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation, Chapel Hill Police and Fire Departments. This two day clinic will be known as Chapel Hill Community Day, and our goal is to use basketball to connect our youth with members of our community. The campers will learn fundamental skills, play games and compete in skills challenges, while also engaging with police officers, firemen and other local community figures.
Local businesses have also graciously chipped in to help. Italian Pizzaria #3 (better known as IP3) will provide lunches and Chapel Hill Sportswear will donate t-shirts for the campers.
It’s an incredible honor to be able to work together with everyone to bring this event to the youth of Orange County. Over the years this area has given me unwavering support.
Camp Details
This camp will be held July 7&8 from 9am-3pm at the Hargraves Community Center in Chapel Hill and is available for girls and boys, rising 3rd-8th graders. The camp is free of charge, but limited to Orange County residents only.
