Last weekend we successfully completed the second annual Marcus Ginyard Basketball Camp at the Jacksonville Commons Recreation Center in Jacksonville, North Carolina. This year we were blessed to have 30 kids age 7 to 16 show up eager to have fun and ready to get better! “Having Fun, Getting Better” is the camp motto and we did a fantastic job accomplishing both!

This year’s staff boasted two former Division I and professional players, as well as a head High School Basketball coach with more than 5 years of Division I collegiate coaching experience. Aside from making sure that the kids leave camp with a huge smile on their face, it’s our goal to provide fundamental instruction from which the kids can build their basketball skills and take their game to the next level.

Next year we are planning to expand the camp, possibly in multiple locations. Alexandria (VA), Jacksonville (NC), and Wilmington (NC) are all options that we are looking into. Please stay tuned for more information here on the website!
